Hot yet comfortable stones are placed over the fitted sheet and under the blanket ( initially) to marinate your back muscles in soothing heat, while fresh stones are used for the legs and arms. When the legs and arms are done, the stones on the back are removed and replaced with fresh hot stones and massaged.
